About Us
Welcome to the ASCM Houston Chapter: an organization dedicated to advancing the Supply Chain and Operations community in Houston and the surrounding Gulf Coast region.
We provide educational programs, professional development, and networking opportunities designed to help members grow their careers and organizations strengthen their supply chains. Our chapter hosts professional development meetings with expert guest speakers, training sessions led by nationally recognized instructors, and workshops aligned with the trends driving growth in our region. Whether your goal is to build a higher-performing supply chain, earn career-changing credentials, or expand your network, ASCM Houston is here to support your journey.
As one of the nation’s leading ASCM chapters, we are proud of our accomplishments:
- 500+ members, making us one of the largest of 190 chapters/ forums in North America
- A service region spanning along the Gulf Coast from Freeport, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana
- Sponsorship of six active student chapters, including the University of Houston, Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, North American University, Houston Community College, and DeVry
- A roster of nationally recognized instructors and speakers, including ASCM Master Instructors with 20+ years each of teaching and industry experience

Goals & Objectives
To achieve our mission, the ASCM Houston Chapter seeks to maximize benefits for organizations, employees, and individuals by leveraging the APICS Body of Knowledge and other relevant frameworks. Our objectives include:
- Advancing Knowledge: Delivering high-quality education that strengthens supply chain and operations capabilities.
- Developing Careers: Creating opportunities for networking, mentoring, and career advancement.
- Serving the Community: Providing professional services through dedicated board members, instructors, and collaborators.
- Contributing to the Profession: Sharing knowledge and best practices that enrich the broader APICS Body of Knowledge.
